Sweet summertime!

Aight, a little update is due! Not doing much to talk about these days...working as a "washing man" at ISS every day, which is actually quite okay :) Not exactly the most intellectual challenging work, but it suits me well being in-between studies and all.

SOOO, what else?? Heinz (my roomie-to-be) keep mailing me videos of our neat little apartment on Beacon Hill in Boston. It's located right in the sweet spot of EVERYTHING, in a supernice neighbourhood, literally a walk in the park to school! August 29th is the date, and beer is the word ;)

Throwing in a picture of me on a lazy Friday night. Uhm, okay, not light beer...

Norwegian nature

Went on a little walk today, to catch a brief of Norwegian nature. I've never been a nature person, but I must say it is quite stunning compared to anything Shanghai can offer. China can copy just about everything, but the Norwegian scenery are ours to keep! :-)

You can see some more pictures below.

Home in Norway

Ah, finally back home again! After a long and tiresome travel I landed in Bodø Monday night. Woke up to 25 degrees (Celsius) in Shanghai, and went to bed in 7 degrees in Bodø :) For now I kind of love tha fact that it's a bit cold, since it represents a long-waited freshness that Shanghai does not in any kind offer. But I do feel that I was getting used to a more comfortable temperature...

Last Friday we had graduation day! We're not used to this from Norway, but China has the same tradition as in US, where you dress up in a cape and wears this silly hat. We had thesis presentation the whole day, and I guess everyone werejust waiting to get outside, take the pictures and throw tha hat in the air. And you know...throwing the hat in the air is actually just as fun as it looks!!

In the evening we had a nice graduation dinner. Click the album if you want to see more pictures of that. We were all pretty tired, and it didn't end up as the dead-drunk party I thought it would.

Alright, that's it for now :) Tomorrow I'll start my job as a cleaning man! Will be great to earn some cash before Boston =)

Last week in Shanghai!

First of all; YESSSS, WE'RE FINISHED WITH THE THESIS!! A total of 151 pages were printed and delivered this Monday! I've never been so sick of working with something as I was last weekend, but I think we did a fair job on it. Only thing left is to present it this Friday, and I can call my self a Bachelor in International Marketing :) Kind of wierd to think about...3 years of school finished, and it feels like I just started my studies O_o

The Kangaroo trap!

Daggi and I fixed a kangaroo trap for Rasmus this weekend. Got a little tired of thesis work, and we got creative with our inflatable kangaroo! We've had this scheme for the last weeks where we hide it wierd places, and this trap was the most advanced so far! Sorry to say that it didn't work...was taped so hard that he barely got the door open :p

Okay, that's all for now! These last days we've been packing all our stuff. Loading the container tomorrow, and I realize now that I've actually bought quite a lot of stuff this year :)

Looking forward to coming home to Norway now! =o)
