X-Games and Russian food
Been some days since the last update know. Ain't much happening besides school, ant it probably won't be untill we're finished here. Only some 35 days til I'm heading home now...feels sort of weird. Almost like I just got here, but now it's good'ol Norway again. I like Shanghai and China a lot, but I admit that I'm really looking forward to a couple of months in Norway.

This weekend the X-Games Asia-crew hit Shanghai! They'd set up a bunch of ramps in a stadium just near here, so we went there on the Thursday. Disappointingly few people were there, but we did catch some sweet action :) First we saw some cool motorcross-jumps, before we headed over to the BMX-competition. I had to leave after heat 2, so I didn't see the best ones. Underneath you can see a short movie I made of the movie clips I took =)
Beyond that has the weekend been quite nice. Friday started with a beer and a card game at Zan, and ended up with 4 hours at a karaokeplace, and a stolen basketball net from McDonalds ;)
Yesterday we had a really nice dinner at Flying Elephant, a Russian restaurant. I had no idea about what russian food was before I went, but it turned out to be pretty damn good! The menu mostly consisted of northern European food like pork chops and beef. Felt like a Norwegian Sunday-dinner=) The prices were nice to, and I had a 4-course dinner for 120 kuai :)
I'd like to conclude with saying my congrats to my cousin, Magnus, who's having his confirmation today! Unfortunately I haven't got any pictures of the fella. Anyway, have a super-sweet day! =)
